The leaves are thick and fleshy green. with some varieties showing white flecks on their upper and lower steam surfaces. aloe vera leaves contain phytochemicals under study for possible bioactivities such as acetylated and other anthraquinones such as emodin and various lectins.

Aloe Vera is a medicinal plant that's been used to treat various health conditions of thousands of years. It's usually safe to use Aloe Vera directly from the plant or you can buy it in gel form.  Aloe Vera the juice is a food product extracted from the leaves of Aloe Vera plants they called it Aloe Vera water. Aloe Vera has been used for digestive ailments. Diarrhea and constipation are common issues the plant is well known for helping with. Aloe Vera juice can have a soothing effect which contains anthraquinones or natural laxatives may further help with constipation. However, you should keep in mind that there are some safety concerns with Aloe latex.

I highly suggest consulting to your doctor before taking this Aloe Latex for constipation.
